Looks like for a Colt ACE, but no loading button. Is is for a .22.
261484

I'm thinking these are for a Colt 38 super.
One is stamped Colt 38 super auto
Other is Colt 38 SPEC. With button.
261485

I'm almost sure these are for a Colt ACE

Not sure on the first two but they appear to be for some type of 22 conversion for the 1911. Are they a.45 magazine with an insert? If so I think Bob Day did that.
The bottom three look like Colt Ace.
The middle two: one is a .38 super which is modified for the .38 special, but the other is a .38 special midrange which is pr9)etty rare.
Did these come from an old Bullseye pistol shooter? I would expect that do the nature of them.

They came form a guy that used to dabble in all kinds of stuff.
Not sure what happened to all the firearms.
He had some good stuff from that I got.

As stated I think the first two are for a Bob Day conversion. I have never seen one but it looks like they have an insert in a regular .45 acp magazine.
The other two are as stated; a modified .38 super to.38 special. The other is a Colt mid-range.

22 mags, not for the Colt ACE.
Thanks to 824tsv on the RimfireCentral forum.
These are made by Bob Day of Day Arms Corparation.
He had a conversion kit for sale in the 70's.
I'm guessing not to many around.
You were correct wv109323.
Very ingenious way of doing it.
Some kind of 22 mag (kind of looks like a Winchester) slips into a regular 45acp mag
45acp mag uses the follower, and a tiny latch, to keep it in place.
