The cast bullet handbook is a classic and worth it's weight in gold.

..... you mean my first brand new manual (Lyman #43, printed in '64) is "vintage" now? And I was reviewing some good stuff in it just an hour ago! Goodness, where has all the time gone???

(You may find the plastic binders in those old books have become brittle and therefore fragile; be gentile with them.)

So I should feel "vintage" instead of just old??

#43 seems to have more cast, and vintage data than the #1 CAST Bullet handbook

I guess we are all getting a bit "vintage". I keep my "vintage" books also...

You don’t throw away knowledge no matter how old it is.

I have all 3 of those and more.
I also love those old manuals.
I picked up a few at H&Gs estate sale.

i have storage tubs of older reloading manuals, magazines, vintage gun maker info in general that i can't part with. My fear is that if I did I would immediately need the information and realize my folly. Everything is "sorted" by title, type & date... I even have duplicates and even triplicates of some publications (2 sets 30+ years of Double Gun Journal, 3 sets of 1-6 of Lyman spiral manuals, etc) just in case... Yep, I'm one of "those" guys... a hoarder with a purpose & good taste :?

You can never have too many reloading manuals.

Agreed, tell that to the online "recipe" seekers.

I keep thinking about breaking some old manuals down and scanning them. So far I’ve resisted, I like holding a book.
