Good evening everybody.
I've been lurking on this site since last December when I started thinking about getting back into hand loading again. It's been since the early 80s that I've done much, and that was mostly 9mm; however I did do some loads for my .308 a few years ago with just the simple Lee Loader. I recently bought out all the tools and supplies from a buddy of mine who no longer uses it.
Now I'd like to work up a load for my .30-30 Winchester '94. Today the mailman left me a box of 165gn RNFP cast bullets. I can't find any specific loading data for this bullet and the powders that I have on hand, but I've got a bunch of IMR4320 from when I was loading for the .308, and thought I might try starting with about 18 grains of that and see how it goes.
I also have most of a pound of IMR4350, but can't find any data on that at all. Anyone used IMR4350 with cast bullets in .30-30?
