Hi everybody.
I bought an AR pistol in 7.62x39 and have been having a time with it and the company that sold it to me. FedArms in Ft. Smith AR = worst customer service on the planet...

Anyway the barrel on this thing is way undersized. I did a chamber cast and came up with .301x.306" The throat is .312" The accuracy is terrible with this barrel.

So I picked up a new barrel yesterday and did a chamber cast on it before installing and it is similar. .301x.307" the throat is also .312"

These are too small to even be 300BO barrels. I wonder if FedArms got a bunch of cheap out of spec barrels and just installed them anyway?

Is this what I'm going to find no matter what, or is anyone actually making 7.62x39 barrels?
I wonder if I'll have to load .308" bullets in it. If I try to fit boolits to the throat, .312" to .306" is gonna be a huge squeeze.

Anybody with a 7.62x39 AR, what are the bore and groove dimensions of your barrel and what kind of accuracy are you getting.
TIA

I gotta Bear Creek upper and I think it's .311 but I'm not sure since I have slugged not chamber casted it. Seems companies don't really standardize barrel dia with 7.62x39 like the door the other calibers for some reason
