I can’t find any YouTube videos “for dummies” on the process. Anyone have any tips? I’m really short on 35 Rem brass and have about 15 or 20 308 range pickups and figured I could give it a try.

Your fast! Looks like I don’t have the right equipment to do it. Guess I’ll have to budget for some 35 Rem brass.

35 Rem was available recently. It still is at Grafs, maybe other places also.

Some .35 Remingtons have sloppy chambers. Some .308 lots run to the small side of acceptable. I suggest owners of the .35 Remingtons have a chamber cast made. Find out exactly what size brass you need. Measure any and every lot of .308 or 7.62 you find and you may get lucky. If you find a lot of once fired that fits, buy it up.

I ended up with a surplus, if you only need a few I can send 10-20 your way.

I purchased some .308 brass made as illustrated in the links above. It would not chamber in my Contender. Gave it to a buddy who uses it in a Marlin 336. He likes it.
