Del Rio,Tx 8 pt

Got this 8pt in Del Rio,Tx this weekend using a Clements SBH SW500-(1.4" case) shooting 395gr WFNPB at 1150 fps.
The shot was from above the deer,the shot angled thru the neck into the shoulder and out,dropped at the shot.
The pistol I used is the one in my avatar and is on my belt in the picture.

But I think you need to work on your load a little bit. From your description of the entry and exit plus the photo, it appears that you had some rather excessive meat damage to me. :grin:

Now common and fess up. You found those horns didn't ya? :grin:
