I bought a Cimarron model P jr that is marked .38 SP. and 38 LC and would like to develop a load for the 38 LC. Problem is that I am having trouble finding 150 gr. RNFP bullets. I know, I could just use any .38 SP. bullet, but I'm funny that way. Does anyone on here know where I can get this bullet?

I had a Lee 158 RNFP 6 cavity old. Decided I didn't want the bevel base, so I sent it to Buckshot to have the mold milled to remove the BB. It came out 150 grains on the nose.

Do you mold bullets to sell?

Redhawk44, go to the Montana Bullet Works web page. They cast a lot of the LBT style boolits and the ones I see have a gas check or a good sharp base. I have never had much luck with beveled base boolits as far as accuracy and leading were concerned. Sure, they are easier to load in a case mouth but my results were not good. Most commercial casters use a beveled base mold because they drop out of the mold a bit easier than a true flat base. I know that some very knowledgeable people have had better results but this is my experience. When you get to pouring your own, look at an Accurate Molds 358-160H. It is a thing of beauty in everything I ever shot it in.
