Wondering how many folks had a somewhat normal Easter this year.

My folks have been wintering in Yuma, AZ for several years, so no "normal" big family gatherings since then. Moved back up here after my divorce and have tagged along with my brother to his and his wife's family gatherings the last couple of years. Then I got my own serious girlfriend and celebrated with her and her family today.

It was limited to just me and my girlfriend, her parents, and her sister, brother-in-law, and their daughter. We had a big meal with prime rib and chicken, then gathered together and sang hymns with the daughter playing the piano. It was nice.

I got off of work at 6am, and while at work, got to see the live Easter Mass from the Vatican on Fox, which was interesting. My shift partner is Catholic, so I had a bunch of questions for him about the service. Being a typical Catholic, he didn't know much, LOL.
