I don't believe there is one. Burn rate varies by caliber and bullet weight.
You take 30-06 and use three powders They line up #1, #2 and #3 with 150 gr bullets. Change to 165 grs and it might be #2, #1 then #3. 180 it may be #3, #1 #2.
Run the same powders in a 308 and you may get something else. There are too many variables.
The list may have two powders next to each other and be 3% apart. The next to may be 20% apart.
If you think you can use a burn rate chart to try one powders charge with the one next to it is a crap shoot.
If your manuals don't have the powder you want to use you might want too ask on the Quick Load thread.
That will get you better data than just guessing.

I agree, Burn Rate Charts should only be used for reference. With the realization they burn rates are variable based on application, lot to lot powder variation, and the ambient conditions the powder is being used in.

Burn rate isn’t an industry standard that is objectively measured and every chart is an estimate of where that powder stacks up against another. It can be useful if your hunting store is out of all of your favorite powders and you need something that is close. Powders with a similar burn rate will typically be used in the same cartridges.


Just about any reputable burn rate chart is as good as another’s.

It is not a substitute for published load data. Just a reference tool.

I agree, burn rate charts should be used the same way as Quick Load as a guide only, not as hard data.

You need multiple. Newer ones don’t have old powders and vice versa. Download all that you can find and realize they are simply for reference.
