Looks good, reminds me of home in the 1980’s. We put in an acre each of corn, beans, tomatoes, and mashed potatoes.
About a half acre’s worth of watermelons, okra and cucumbers. Had an old Farm-All tractor with attachments, including a fertilizer hopper. Hard work, but it paid off and we ate well.
Looks like we might have to till some soil again here, soon.

Might be early but it is a south slope so we went for it. Lower garden will be melons and horticultural beans.

High wind & snow flurries all day today here in upstate NY. We don't usually plant until Memorial Day weekend when danger of frost is over & soil temperature is high enough for seed germination.

dangitgriff----where can I get seed to grow mashed potatoes?? Growing them would save a lot of work over the course of a year.

You beat me to it. I'd love to grow them already mashed. Now if I could get some gravy seed.

I still have snow in the yard. Another month at least before I can plant anything.

looks like my field
had to start from scratch
first had to mow field grass weeds
then plow with 2 bottom plow
then till it up with a disk
when we get some good steady weather I will plant corn
