Does anyone happen to know the thread of the little set screw that locks the sprue plate screw in place on an MP 227 65 GC NATO mold? I just noticed mine fell out at some point. I notice common american 8-32 is too big, 6-32 fits but is sloppy. Maybe metric M4?

I had to replace them before, and they are metric. I don’t remember the size, but I took my mold to the hardware store and found the one that fit.

Yes, M4 is correct. I had to change mine also at some stage.

You may already do this, but I've put a very small clip of 14-2 copper wire in the hole for the screw. After I modified every MP mold I have for another M6 screw/sprue plate stop instead of that blankety blank roll pin, I installed a M4 allen headed screw with a brass tip. It does the same thing as the copper wire.
The allen headed screws with brass tip mentioned are available from McMaster Carr.
