how is bottom pour? I have always cast my round balls with a ladle. I am just getting ready to start casting 45's with a 6 cavity. Do I need one of these?

I think you will have trouble keeping a 6 cav filled with a ladle. The first ones would likely be hardening before you get the last ones filled. With proper technique, I have no problems with bottom pour, even with over 500 gr boolits.

You will not be sorry, it's one of the better investments in bullet casting. It and the star are two items worth the effort to buy if you are into casting and sizing alot of "BOOLITS"

Since I have a captive RCBS audience here I will plead my case ! :)

If anyone sees one of the RCBS Pro-Melt ladle casting pots like this available please drop me a PM !

I would like another ! :)
