I ordered a 5 cavity .312 mold 4 days ago. Ought to see it
by the first of May ASSuming things don't get really stupid.
I started to get the trough sprue plate but didn't. None of
my other molds have one.

I need to look at Midway and see what handles are going
for. (17.00 I just looked, need some more stuff to get to
$50.00 for free shipping).

Now all I need to do is watch the auction sites for a colt
1903 shooter and some mags.

I can't wait.

That looks pretty.

Let us know how it shoots in your 1903 when you get both. Never have loaded for mine but might be time to start.

I am a student of Outpost 75 and have loaded the 73 grain
32acp loads using his information. The Walther PP and Beretta 81
run very well with that weight.

The idea of having the performance of a 380 out of a 32acp is
very interesting.

My type III feeds everything so good luck on your search for a 1903. I tried sizing at .313 first but found it tended to bulge the case just enough to cause a hiccup every now and then. I settled on the RCBS 32-077RN which casts a solid 78 grains. That 094H looks like it has a good profile.

And this thing runs cast like it was made for it...

I got the mold today. Fantastic. It took 7 days from time of order
to my hot little hands! I looked and didn't have any handles
that were not in use. Seems the last one ended up on a mold
for the 44 mags.

SO I got hot and ordered from Midway. Should see the stuff
the day after tax day. I am very happy. Now to look at the
metal buckets and see what metal's handy. I have some
20:1 that I'm going to thin out to 40:1.

I have the 31-090B 5Cv. Great little design that shoots well...in 30 Carbine and 32-20...and casts easily.

Just a quick observation... I generally try to start with harder bullets in an auto than I would use in a revolver or BP rifle. Rather than diluting that 20:1 alloy you’ve got there, I’d probably throw some COWWs or Linotype into the part to harden up the mix a little. It wouldn’t take much, but I’d be trying to harden up the mix with just a tad bit of antimony. YMMV.
