IMR PB powder in cast loads?

I know IMR PB powder is mostly used for shotgun shells. I'd like to use it for reduced loads in 30'06 and 308W and 7.62X54r. Does anyone have experience using it with cast bullets? 102 grain, 155 grain or 200 grain boolits?

There is data available online for using PB in handgun loads. Nothing I could find for rifle.
You might be able to compare known powders used for cast rifle loads and find some way to use it.

I used a great deal of PB many years ago for plainbased gallery loads in the .30-'06. Some of the older Lyman handbooks had data, but I used mostly 8-10 grains in the .30-'06 with #308241 in the 154-grain weight and 6-7 grains with #311257 and #3118 in the '03 Springfield. You could probably use Unique data cautiously as a guide, but don't try to Hot-Rod it. I found it worked best below 1300 fps without using a filler, and standard rifle primers.

My 45th edition Lyman Handbook (circa 1970) shows 30-06 CB starting loads of 11-12 gr. PB for boolit weights from 120 to 193 gr.

Thank you gentlemen, that will give me an area to look at and I'll see if I can dig out some older manuals. Most of mine are more recent and show very little IMR-PB loads. I understand they stopped making it some time ago and I ended up with 4 pounds of it and am looking for a way to burn it up.

The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbooks - including the 4th - have PB loads.

I'm using it for cast loads in the .45 Colt.

Unless you have a significant supply, I wouldn’t bother. PB was my go to for a long time (12G, 38spl, 9mm, and 45acp). I finally had to move on because it has been discontinued.

My Lyman #46 shows a range of 10 grains to 12.5 for 308 with a 151 cast. I'm down to my last half pound tin and I'll miss it. 4 grains in a 357 with a 158 SWC is a nice plinking load. 8 or 9 grains in a 30-30 is OK with cast.
