what can i use these for?

i bought a large lot of reloading stuff and got some powders with it. there is winchester 473AA, alcan al-5, alcan al-8, winchester 296, and a surlpus powder #571. i load cast for 45/70, 22 hornet, and 308. i also load j bullets for 223, 25-06, 7x57, and 9.3x57. what could i use these powders in?

All shotgun powders except the WW 296, not to say that some of them could be used in pistols. Only "571" I ever heard of was a Winchester shotgun powder.

al5/unique al8/blue dot 296/h110 Not so sure on the 571 I think hs6
That should give you an idea. Check other sources to be sure.

I believe 571 is same as HS-7 :)
