Anyone here have some loads for .41 magnum with 265 gr bullets using

I've shot a lot of heavy .41 bullets in my Dan Wesson, but I'd be very hesitant to use those powders. They just aren't compatible with bullets of that sectional density. That is a job for H-110/296. I'd be surprised if you could even stabilize bullets that long at the velocities safely achievable with those powders.

I haven't shot any powders that fast with my heavy 41 bullets but have used Unique. I'm working remote and away from my loading notes but got excellent accuracy with 265-280 grain bullets in the 850-900fps range with Unique. HS6 would be another good one for mid range loads with heavy bullets. I did a lot of testing of heavy cast bullets in the 41 with H110, 4227 and 2400 about 25 years ago. I've used Bullseye with 400 grain bullets in a 480 and got outstanding accuracy but think a bulkier mid range or slow powder is better suited to magnum cases. H110/296 is really a one trick pony. It wants to run full throttle and doesn't take downloading well and is unsafe to do so. Both 2400 and 4227 will handle downloading some. I doubt you'll have any stabilization issues with running a fast powder but diligence is essential to avoid double charges. There are better options than 231/BE for heavy bullets but you don't have to run full throttle H110 loads to enjoy heavy bullets in your 41.

Although I've reloaded for the 41 magnum for years all of my reloading has been with boolits from 195 grs. to 215 grs. . I have nothing as heavy as 265 grs.

I recently got a 237 gr. SWC from NOE but haven't cast the first boolit with it.
It's a Keith Signature mould and still to new and pretty to muck up .
Got some good 215 gr. loads with the NOE #413-215-WC (413432) wadcutter boolit and fast powders , Bullseye , AA #2 , HP-38 and Titegroup !

Why not use published data from a reliable source?

Hodgdon will take you from about 1000 to almost 1600 fps with that bullet. The fact that Hodgdon doesn't list data for W231 should tell you something too.

That was the first place I checked and no info with Win. 231? Where are you getting this information from?

The fact that Hodgdon doesn't list data for W231 should tell you something. Don't use W231.

Ram shot has a number of powders, as has AA ie AA#9, Aliant,Hogdons
the medium slow powders can be what you need... 2400, AA#9, etc.if H110 is a bit much.. Just use published data
a 265 gr .41 cal boolit is hard to stop even at say 1100 fps
