Got to give a big thumbs up to Moose Moulds. My new
.577 Wilkinson mould is not only a work of art, casts so nice and easy, but I got to shoot some of those boolits today out of my Miroku '63 Springfield and those things just work. One ragged hole at 50 yards and about 2 inches at 100. Great fun while practicing social distancing!

I have a couple moose moulds, yep great quality. I had the Wilkinson mould for my Lorenz musket. Once I got the powder charge up around 46 grains it shot excellent. Much easier than casting minies.

I also have the Moose Wilkinson, it does cast very nice. With 55 grains 3f I've shot 5 or 6 shots at 50 yards into a group with all shots touching. My Zoli Zoauves bore is a bit large so I beagled the mold to see if I can get some better 100 yard groups. If the rain stops maybe I'll get to try them out.
