Sequence of events: Participants order molds and are placed on the list, the Group Buy will close (which will be posted on the thread) at some time determined by MiHec, the molds are made from the orders on the list at the time it is closed or by altering what you want via PM to MiHec after it's closed. Extra molds should be available... order them by PM to MiHec. Invoices will be sent out via e-mail from the listed addresses and you pay by using Paypal...... Invoice will be in Euros which Paypal converts from Euros to dollars. After you pay, the mold gets shipped.

Jessdigs- I'm updating the list and see you have NLG and GC.... Unfortunately this can't be. If you choose NLG, Miha does a seconday operation, to machine all the grooves out, including the step for the GC. So you wold have to choose between the two.

The 65g would work well for a 1:9 if you are not pushing to the max powder load. and depending on coating or a GC

Kawa- Miha can't do the NLG with a GC. His process of machining, cleans out all grooves with a secondary machining process for the NLG and the GC groove has to go as well. Let me know if you would prefer NLG with a FB or you want the grooves in order to get the GC.

Unfortunately it wont machine up that way. Being NLG means all the internals of the cavity get removed during a secondary operation.

technically its 25 of the HP molds, but Im working with Miha on getting him to combine the 65g and 75g because they would use the same HP pins. If this works out, there are enough to take this in to last call.

Regarding the BB with the NLG (I may have already answered, but just in case) When Miha runs a secondary cutter into the mold, to remove the lube grooves, it also removes any bevel that may exist. Sorry but with this GB I cant offer a BB.

Send me a PM with what you are trying to accomplish please. This mold will easily size down to .224, whether you use soft or hard lead.

Likewise, if you pour 99% PB you will automatically get smaller bullets due to shrink. But I'm not certain why you would want to run pure in a higher powered load. Send that PM and we can talk more offline.

The 65g would work well for a 1:9 if you are not pushing to the max powder load. and depending on coating or a GC

According to Berger Twist calculator at such short length 0.656" and such weight - 65gr the stability increases dramatically to the point that it will stabilize in 1:14 twist rate at velocity of 2400 fps and higher. The reason I believe it - is because I shot 60gr NOE cast bullets out of my 221FB which has twist rate of 1:14 and there was no keyholing and accuracy was good. I shot between 2560 - 2700+ fps and got between 1.5 - 2 MOA groups with slower being better. Powder coated and homemade gas checks. Now if that doesn't work out I do have .223 in 1:9 and 1:8 twist rate.

Maybe that will result in a smaller number of mold orders required for a group buy since he won't have to order hundreds of pins to make it worth his time and effort.

You are both correct. There has been a pin issue with his supplier. He also just took delivery to a new Hass machine yesterday, but I dont know the status on the CNC lathe he was trying to purchase. I've got a text into him and as soon as I get a response (I'm asking if the 65g and 75g molds can be closed) I will update you all and push to keep these moving.

Actually, I think this works well. I do some of loads as Hitek and then GC on top of the coating. It simply provides extra protection from leading.

Actually, it is/was a real replica, details on back of limber noted original as from around Bowling Green area.
I bought it from a local dealer in Louisville, Ky.
Back in my 'wood working' days.
Was going to restore it, ended up giving it to Kentucky Mountain Artillery.
They are actually a horse back artillery unit but said they'd be able to use it in trades.
I affectionately referred to it as my unconcealable weapon.

Unfortunately this GB isnt making seperate cherry's for lube and NLB, so you can't have the GC with the NLB. You will have to decide if the GC is more important than the lube groove.

Last call means there are more orders than required, to produce the mold. At this point it means that as soon as Miha has space on his equipment, he will run the GB and start shipping.

Unfortunately there is no exact timing, we all understand that we have to be patient. MP-molds (Miha) is having plenty of issues stocking raw material and keeping up with demand.
