I know... Miha has just gone dark on all us honchos. I've got his phone number and historically he'd answer for me but last 3 months he doesn't even answer the phone. I ping him 3 times a week, I don't know how to do anymore to get him moving...

Last time we talked, he stated the turning of pins for the HP molds was the issue. He sources these out and the dude he always sourced to is making bigger money on some other gig. He was supposed to purchase a micro lathe to bring the work inhouse, but the Hasse lathe comes from Korea and shipments on big stuff have been really slow. Only my guess but that's probably the issue. If he'd talk to me I could tell people, but frankly I'm getting tired of being his scapegoat...

There are 2 issues he is dealing with, his supplier of the HP pins and a general shortage (and high cost) of raw materials. It's no different in the USA, if you have tried to buy any steel lately, you are in for a real shock... 2-3 times the cost from "pre-covid" pricing.

The GOOD news is, he has a new lathe coming, is supposed to start it's voyage by sea on the 28th and once it arrives and gets setup, Miha will start making his own pins!! Soon this pin-issue will be behind us. Stay patient and keep posted.

The CNC lathe to make all the pins is now on the ocean, expecting arrival at his shop of 28JAN22. This means that sometime in Feb he'll begin making all the pins. So stay tuned HP molds will start flowing again!

Actually you are already fine with that mold. Some of the ole-timers like to use alternate (and too many) of their own words and it gets confusing. I am tired of modifying what folks write so lately I've just been copying what they write. But notice my choices, Grooved or NLG....
