Well due to school I haven't been able to spend as much time deer hunting this fall as I would have liked. To top it off, modern gun season in my county ended on Monday so I'm already planning on hitting the woods during muzzleloader season in December.
Anyway I'm looking at buying a new smoke pole but wanted to hear some suggestions on what to look for or what to avoid. I'm not interested in a used model as most of those I have encountered look as though they were rode hard and put away wet.
My only criteria are that it be stainless steel construction with a synthetic stock. I'll probably mount a low power scope on top so fancy sights don't really matter. I would like to keep it fairly inexpensive too, preferably between $200-300. What say the experts??
