Few questions about a potential purchase. Is the COL short enough for the S7 cylinder? What kind of velocities are you guy getting in a 5.5 " barrel, and what powders are you using? If I powder-coat, do need to bother with gas-checks?

Thanks in advance.

I have one of those molds & guns. ,, and I'll need to check my stuff to see if I can answer your questions.

Update; I checked,, and the nose is too long for the cylinder. Won't fit.

It wound not work for me. (Unless I seated deeply)

I bought a Accurate 135g WFN designed time be optimal for the RUGER S7.

UnfortuneatelyI cannot post any more
Pics for ya.

But there is another thread about 327 heavy bullets that has pics.

I stopped at about 1200 FPS and a 135. But I also got a Lyman 311440 (150g) bullet to 1100 pretty easily.

Pics of that there too.

You'll have to use H&R brass in the S7 or deep seat in 327 brass.
