A bullet design made to powder coat or hiteck with no lube grooves. Can a liquid or tumble lube be used? Alox for example or Lars tumble lube?

Thank you

I’ve read that it can, but I haven’t tried it. Specifically the lee alox

Lube retention issue may arise when the boolit leaves the casing & potentially scrape off lube, that's why there are TL grooves on CBs meant for tumble lube like those offered by Lee.
Just my 2 cents.

I cast and tumble lubed a handful of paper patch boolits for my 4570 many moons ago that were 0.001" over my bore (perfect!) and shot them over H4198 and they leaded my bore horribly! They were to big to size down to my bore and sold the mold. Just my experiences but I think it's good enough for me to never repeat.

Yup, LLA, Recluse, BLL all work with grooveless. For top end rifle loads I use GC moulds to prevent blow-off of TL. GC also for gas guns.
