Gentleman,
My STAR sizer came in and it's truly a thing of BEAUTY! Now a few questions and pleas for input..
Bench space is at a premium. I have thought I'd like to mount the press to a piece of 1/2 plywood 1' wide and 2' or 2 1/2' wide. This would allow me to sit it on the shotshell bench, then drop three or four 25# bags of shot on the plywood to secure it. OR C-Clamp it to the bench. I have no idea at all about handle pressure when sizing.
Or........ IF You think it's going to move around too much I'll simply drill a few holes, mount it to the bench. I could always remove it to make room for other projects.
I got a .430" die as I'm going to size #429421 slugs so how should I position the shot pellets in my STAR die?? leave the middle holes open I'm guessing? Any tried and true measurement for positioning the top punch??
Thanks,
