quack1 has it have that same tool on my shelf , sort 22 rimfire by rim thickness , if you are willing to do that you will see an improvement in accuracy from cheaper 22

Yep, rim thickness gage for sorting. Almost bought one years ago, decided to just trust Eley to do it.

It is a Neil Jones .22 RF head space gauge.
Neat little tool.
I'm sure for precision .22RF shooters, it is a must.
For me and my 10/22, I don't think so.
But you never know.
I'll give it a try, and maybe make a report.
If I can find some time

I made a rim gauge for the 30-30 family of cases. I intended to make an adapter for .22 RF but never did.
