Seeing one of my (many ;) ) favourite moulds on an auction site, I chose not to let it pass me by. An RCBS 2-cavity 45-255-SWC -- imho great for .45 Colt -- it came with a sprue plate unlike any I've seen before. Quite thick metal, with blueing exactly as mould is, I doubt if it is a "home made" plate, albeit this is possible.
For no other reason than perhaps me being "Curious George" -- might any of you learned, wise, experienced guys or guyettes have any idea re the origin/manufacturer of this plate? 257610257611
Thanks much!

I'd guess it to be made by someone with the right skills and who had access to a decently equipped machine shop.

It looks like it would work perfectly to be handy to turn wearing a heavy welder's glove.

If it was from RCBS or a aftermarket place, we'd have heard about them before now.

That mould is set up for a Magma or Balisti-Cast casting machine.

Thank you Red River Rick! And thank you, too, for the URL link for "Heavy Duty Replacement Sprue Plates..." in your signature line. Don't be surprised ;) if you hear from me shortly.
