Prayer request for my brother and sister-in-law

Will y’all please pray for my brother and his wife? She had been slowly loosing feeling on her right side since Monday. CAT scan today revealed an abnormality on her brain. At this point we aren’t sure if it is a tumor, brain bleed, or something related to her Lupus. Anyway you look at it, it isn’t good news. Their names are Zack and Brianne.

Update. At this point we are pretty sure it is a tumor. She had an appointment with an oncologist tomorrow(the doctors aren’t sure it is cancerous yet but want to get the ball rolling just in case) and hopefully will have one with a neurologist as well. Thank you for the prayers. Please continue to pray for them as they deal with whatever the fallout from this is.

Update: it is a brain abscess. She will be having surgery Thursday and will have a drain tube and IV antibiotics for a while. Thanks for all the prayers so far. Please continue to pray for her and her family, and that the doctors will have steady hands during the procedure.

It is. Neurosurgeon is “as confident as he can be” that it is not a tumor. It is still a scary procedure to drain the abscess but not nearly as scary as the Big C.

Father, You are the Great Healer and I am imploring You to bring comfort, peace, and healing for Brianne and peace for Zack. Please guide them down the path to her healing and restoring her unto You, her family, her husband, and their friends. Father please guide her medical team that will endeavor to heal her. Update: she is out of surgery and doing well. She will be in the hospital for 5-6 days then, assuming everything is going well, she will he sent home with IV antibiotics for 6 weeks.
