I thought I would past this on as it might help some one else. I shot two different loads in my Rossi ranch hand with a full stock off bench. First was cast Lee 220 gr 45colt
with 7grain of tightgroup that chrono average 1052 fps. I only shot 30 yards benched but all touched. Wow I can,t wait to take it out 50 & be on.Next was
255 Lee cast with 17 grains of 2400 with average 1364 fps. She kicked like a mule but patterned great also. That short 12 inch barrel really was a surprise for
I never really tried accuracy test with the longer stock on it. I also coated the bullets with HiTec coatings.

Are you uhhh, pretty far up north or do you have some kind of stamp collection? Sounds fun!

The Ranch hand is a nice "hand gun". If you put a full stock on it, you could be in serious trouble with the feds unless you have a federal stamp for it. I don't know where you live so this post might be moot.

True, you just made an SBR. Here's a good book for you to read, lol

The OP is from “Canatucky,” I think. Such “trappers” are legit way up there I think.
“An imaginary province of Canada”
Sorry for bad joke.

The SBR ban is federal not state, just like all the pot heads here in calif, it might be legal in the state but federally, its still illegal. But, as you said i am not sure how kentucky imposes federal law. I wouldnt want to bet my freedom on it without checking it out thoroughly.

Handshaker, if you scroll up one post and read again, it looks like Texas' post says "Canada" not Kentucky.

Pretty sad when socialist Canada is less restrictive than the land of the free.
