photo appears sideways

when I download from imgur they are upwright but they appear sideways on the thread

I get the same thing using my phone. This is the only site I have problems with. I've posted hundreds of pictures elsewhere with out a problem. Gets frustrating. Anyone else having problems?

I found out in a hurry that using my Apply pad that the camera lense has to orientated up to get pictures that were not sideways or upside down. Try it and see if it does or does not solve your problems.

Photos get saved on your phone or tablet in the orientation in which you take them, but the built viewer will flip them so you can see them upright. When you upload them to an outside source that does not do that, the photos will appear as you took them. The way to fix them, permanently, is to edit them either in your phone or tablet, or other editor and save them. If the software doesn't automatically flip them, they will allow you to manually do so, if it is automatic, they will save right side up. My phone was upright when I took this. Still tipped.25719719
