I was at a gun show last weekend and come across mold with "Cramer" molded into the side of it, I'm hoping somone can tell me what I saw and if it was worth what the guy was asking for it.

It was a .30 cal rifle mold with two rows of cavities and in three pieces. The mold wasn't hollowpointed, and appeared to be made of brass. It was built like a tank and weighed just as much. the sprue plate slid forward instead of to the side.

it seemed to be in used, but good shape. he wanted $240 for it.

Yah pretty rare and not cheap but that sounds like a cool mold. I buy cramer molds when ever I can they are great. My best .45-70 mold is a Cramer that I bought at a gun show drops a 380 gr. cas check at .460 dia that shoots great in my marlin and others.

I found an example of what I saw:

It's the 10 cavity mold in the drawing.
