Never used them.
Any ideas or thoughts on good or not about them???

Little slow (extra step) and can be messy. Have to be careful not to use too much lube or your cases will have dents. Anymore, I just use Unique case lube, applied with fingers. Every third case, apply more to fingers. Your hands will appreciate it to. Mink Oil works as well.

The RCBS "case lube die" is, IMHO, a solution for which we have no problem. (And necks need a touch of lube too.)

As mentioned above, we can easily lube and size in one step using one of the soft sizing waxes (Hornady's Unique is one of the best and very easy to use) using only our fingers as we pick each case up immediately before pushing it into a sizer. That will let us lube the whole case in less than two seconds. I think that's lubing fast enough and there's really nothing to clean off afterwards; that saves time too.

But, everyone has gimmicks he loves so ... I guess the lube die sells. ??

I tried to use one for 223 in my Loadmaster, but it just didn't work out. The die would overlube the cases when initially filled with lube resulting in dents and very messy ammo and press. After the initial mess, it would settle in and work great for several cases (the exact number was never predictable) then cases would start sticking. I have since given up and started spraying about a hundred cases with Honady One Shot pirior to placing them in the collator. Hands down the most disappointing RCBS experience I have ever had.

I would see no need for it. Lile 1hole, I lube while sizing rifle cases but use Imperial sizing wax instead. For the pistol cases, some One-Shot makes sizing a bit easier on the Dillons.

Another must have gadget for RCBS to sell you .... but the truth is ...they're not really necessary .

No wonder people keep giving them to me.

I would try one for the hell of it but I never felt the need to get one. It doesn't hurt my feelings to do 223s in two stages. When its perfected, we'll see.
