Does anyone here have one, and what's your opinion of it if you do?

I looked at one today. It seemed well made, but a little different than the centerfires.

I bought one for the wife. She really likes it. Lightweight 8 shot purse gun

The LCP in 22 caliber is 10+1 shot. Has a RH manual safety, which I don't care for, or understand why. The 380 version lacks one.

A buddy of mine who is a first class pistolero, shoots IPSC, got one. He was very impressed, as was I when shooting steel at 15yards and out, the little pistol shot way better than what it should. And we tried all the different kinds of ammo, chugged right thru them with no issues. I have decided I will have to have one when the gunshop gets some more in.

The 22lr version is actually hammer fired, unlike a half cocked striker fired gun, if the hammer where disengaged by a hard enough blow it could fire without the trigger being pulled.

Be nice if they put a ambi on it, for us southpaws.

The center fire LCP II is also a hammer fired single action auto. It has a trigger blocking lever ala Glock.

If destined for pocket carry a holster is a necessity, not an option in my opinion.

I just got one. I like it. Shoots great so far with CCI Blazers. Only shooting it a 5 yards for now. Grouos well enough for its intended use. Todd/3leg
