I am not a Glock fanboy. I held and bought a 48 today. It fits my hand and will likely become my carry gun. Take a look at this one even if you don’t like Glocks.

I have been looking at that and a Sig 365 XL looks like there is a lot of after market support for the 48 the 48 has been out for over a year
with no recall thats a good thing and is supposed to have a better trigger plus a 15 round flush fit mag

I bought a Glock 48 about a month ago. Unlike the Glock 17/19/22/23/26/27 etc it's a great fit for my below average sized hand. Only one range trip so far but even with the crummy stock sights I was shooting it better than any Glock before it. I've installed a Dawson F/O front and black target rear, now for another range trip.

I’ve had the Glock 43X for about a year. Same as the 48, only a shorter barrel. Good little gun. I’ve had no issues. It will hit the target if you do your part. I think you will like the 48.

Anyone know what type of rifling is in the 48

It's their Gen 5 spec "Marksman barrel"

LUCKYDAWG13,

The Glock 48 barrel has the standard Glock polygonal rifling. Mine leaded fairly badly so I swapped it out for a conventional rifled barrel from the Glock store. I can't say that it is any more accurate than the factory barrel but it leads less.

I own Glock models 26, 19, 42, 43, and 48. The 48 is my favorite.

Well I shot one yesterday i was amazed at how well that it handled and shot this is a very accurate pistol more than I thought that it would be point's naturally for me a lot like a 1911 only problem that I had was my thumb riding the slide so it would not hold open on the last round but very impressed with it so far

43, 43X, are different than the 48.
the 48 has the staggared magazine (10 round) where the 43 has straight stack mag.
the 48 grip with the slight stagger mag has a thicker grip than 43.

I like the feel of the 48. Fits my hand better than the 365.

I recently acquired a 43X which is similar. My friend has recently purchased a 48. Both are pleasant shooting and accurate enough for my needs. I think you’ll like it

I have a G19 Gen 5 and larger hands. My G19 fits me wonderfully, so a G48, which is basically just a single-stack G19 with a third less capacity, didn't make sense for me.

The P365 with the 12-round magazine is absolutely tiny compared to the G19, and with the Hogue slip-on grip, it fits me incredibly well.
