The Russian and Red Dot

I bought me a lead slinger to shoot cast. Just for fun. I have the Lee .311 185gr mold w/GC and now would like to find a load using Red Dot powder. I have a bunch of it. I'm hoping I can get some loads that will lob that pill out a ways and ding some steel. I have no load data for Red Dot so I don't know if it will work. If it does, what would the max amount with the 185gr?

Cool i figured you were referring to Mosin Nagant. The above link will help. I use the 13 grain load for target play in my 30.06 too. Your welcome too.

I have used both 10 and 13 gr of Red Dot below the lee 185 gr gc cast. Both loads worked well.
