Does anyone use bullet drop tubes on their bullet feeder?
I was out looking for plastic tubing for bullet today and could not find any.
What do you guys use?
TIA,
Duke

yes i use the star sizer with the auto bullet feeder. for the small tubes for 9mm and 38 i bought mine from magma. i started with there big tubes for 45 acp but found i could buy a nother tube that works. i buy the cpvc badge hot water pipe at home depot in 10' length and cut it in 4 th. gut the cal for it glue on as the bottom and drill a hole to put your carter pin in.

Like 686 said, CPVC pipe works fine. 1/2 in. is the right size (5/8 O.D.). A 1/2 in. copper or CPVC coupling will join your tube to the Star tube.

Thanks guys. Duh guess what. I grabbed the wrong adapter when I went to Home Depot the other day. I had the small adapter. That's what I deserve for not wearing my reading glasses.

at a plumbimg supply store you can get clear in 3/8ths for the small adapter and 1/2 for the large.
it is a bit stiffer then magmas but you can cut them in longer lengths.
i put a couple of wraps of duct tape around mine then drilled them and a box of cotter pins and you are good to go.

I called Magma today and had them send me half a dozen tubes. Thanks all for your help.

another trick on the bullet feader. the bolt head that pushes up to move the arm that slides the bullet bar over. the bolt head, grind it smoothed and buff it like glass . also thr arm it pushes against buff it also. then put some of heavy greese on the contact point. this will make it last 10x longer. i even changed the bolt to a grade 8 . i wore out 2 arms before i did this.
