Can i shoot jacketed bullets and then powder coated bullets without cleaning the barrel? Any issues with copper fouling and then shooting PC bullets?

Depends on your barrel, but, no you will probably not have an issue. Just more cleaning than PC bullets alone :)

A couple of jacket bullets help clean out a barrel.

Actually, I've noticed that I seem to get almost NO copper fouling in my CF rifles when I shoot jacketed after a 'few'...maybe, 25 or so...rounds of PC'd.

A "Day at the Range" for me means shooting 500 to 1,000 rounds of PC'd 9mm through one gun. About a year or so ago, I started shooting one mag of FMJ's at the end of the day's shoot to make the barrel easier to clean. It worked so well that I'm still doing it.

You guys must have 'smoother' barrels than I do. :)

I did a shoot with cast and then jacketed in my .308. The results were good. Less than 1 MOA with my cast bullets at 200yd and then two groups of ten with jacketed that were a bit more than 1/2MOA (8-12mph cross wind). I will repeat this a few more times just to see how things go but I am happy with it.

I still get copper fouling in the bore, just not as much. Keep in mind that this barrel has always had a lot of copper fouling when shooting jacketed.

I shoot a round or two of smokeless, usually PCed, after shooting BP in my .45/70. It makes clean up a lot easer.
