This is further to some successful tests with cast #225107 HP, next up was the new FX Hybrid slugs and the new H&N 21gr. .218" slugs, as with the cast boolits, they were fired on max. setting, prolly over 1000 fps., in my Sumatra 2500. The cast 225107 easily out grouped the other rather expensive slugs. The only thing close was H&N Barracudas at 21 grs. and the Hades 15.89gr. pellets with gun set at medium setting. All results were at 50 yds. with a breeze, top groups with the cast slugs was well under 1/2".
This may save some money on buying those expensive hard to find slugs from H&N and esp. FX.

Did you size the 225107 boolits?
Special alloy?
Lube?

These were cast of pure linotype, sized to .218" on Noe/Star equip., lubed with Carnauba Red, and gas checked. When I get home, I will try some made from pure lead and maybe 20-1. These were cast of lino. originally for use in my .218 M. Bee.

It seems PCP air guns are not only under size bore diameter compared to powder burners.
But also prefer a bullet just a little smaller than bore size. Like .0005-.001 under bore size.
