Hello,
I have found a possible source for pure lead and a lead/bismuth mix. My guess is bismuth is bad for bullet casting.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

No, it's fine. Forms a binary alloy with lead over a wide range of concentrations and will harden it much as tin does. Won't heat treat like antimony.

It's generally very expensive I believe. You might could trade it to someone who wants to make shot out of it, or pure Bismuth boolits.

It's generally very expensive I believe.
The last SEVEN POUND bag I bought for BP shotshell reloads cost my $98 plus shipping!
