I spoke with Charlie about 7 p.m. and he said all he wanted was to get out of the hospital. He said his pain was manageable and that he was not on a pain pump. He sounded groggy and tired as he got out of surgery about 2 p.m. Keep the prayers up for comfort and healing!

Thank You God for what You did for Charlie yesterday!

Spoke with Charlie late last night. He said that the doctor is holding him prisoner and he wants out! He was tired but said that the pain was manageable. He was hoping to get sprung from the hospital since the doctor acknowledged that he knew what to do since he had already had another shoulder replacement.....Charlie thanks all for the prayers and concerns and said that his son should come and get him when the warden paroles him! I made it back home . A little worse for wear but am doing good . I'll be moving kind of slow for a few days but am glad the procedure is behind me . It went well and I shouldn't have any problems in rehab . lol , I got no more shoulders to rebuild ! I thank you all for your prayer and thoughts , there are a lot of good folks here willing to pray and encourage . I thank you for the messages and calls , many were timely to lessen the hospital stay . It's comforting to know that others care .

Thank you !
Charlie

Charlie, I think you know you're always in my prayers, and things like this are always a part of the reason I pray for Christ to help those I don't know about who have challenges before them. I got catherized yesterday, and by God's grace, the doc said my heart was healthier and working better than it was 6 mo. ago when he put in the stents. That was very humbling news! I have been so richly blessed in so many, many ways! And I have always been a little surprised, I admit, when God intervenes and helps me when I can't help myself. Truly, He knew what He was doing when he created so many of us, to learn and apply so many wonderful things so we can help each other live more fruitful and enjoyable lives. And again, that humbles me, because I know I could never do anything really, to EARN any of it! It's simply the Grace of God in action, and who wouldn't be humbled by that? Being gifted something we could never acquire for ourselves is amazing and awe inspiring, if we really think about it. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
