Has anyone plain-based either of these two molds? Or had someone else do the work?

If so, for what cartridge and how did the pb-ed bullets work out, accuracy-wise?

NOE catalogs them, at least the 311-466 design. Not in stock at the instant moment, but a phone call to the Swede can get you fixed up.
I have used a lot of the 311-466 and it’s understudy, the 311-465, but with gas checks, not PB. They are very accurate when so loaded. I have the 311-467 and did some work with it in my 30-06, but other molds work better there, so it has fallen by the wayside.

311466 is so accurate I gladly buy checks for it. Having shot other pb rifle bullets, I would expect it to be accurate from a 14" contender in 30-30 but have never pushed plain based faster than 1500 fps in that platform.

Funny you should mention those two, I just got two old old moulds, cleaned them up and started casting with them for this spring...that's an interesting cast and I can't wait to see what I can do with it in my various 30 cal rifles.

Here's my first batch of 16BHN gas checked then PC'd casts ready for the sizer. I kinda think that gas check can only help and extend the velocity and accuracy but I'll see this spring.
