Recently snagged a pair of older NEI dbl cav moulds in yellow and green boxes.

The stick on label on the side is from the "Prochco Bullet Co" Salmon, ID. Both are Keith style SWC's. One is a .411" 225 gr. The other is a .451" 265 gr.

WHAT do I need for handles??

Me personally I would take a pair of Lyman handles and modify / adapt them to the blocks. You can get old "ugly" handles on the Eplace (broken handlles.. rusted..) cheap some days and gunshows.. yards sales (But this is Nov) ... and with a double cut file and drill in no time you have working handles. Been doing this as long as my skinny little fingers have been making silvery stuff.

RCBS handles can be adapted as well.

Thanks.....I knew the current NEI's take the RCBS was wondering if the older moulds may have been different. I'm in both of these new, unused moulds all of FIFTY bucks so new handles wont break me. Simply wanted to know WHICH oones to buy.

Bought an older NEI recently. RCBS handles don't work from the box. I have modified a pair of Lee handles by taking a few thousands off the top and bottom with the belt sander...drilled some new holes, and shaped the ends so that they would close/open the mold properly.

Those older El Paso made NEI molds were made for RCBS handles. You should have no problems using them.

Here are the mic measurments.
NEI (260429, 4 banger) slots: .264" RCBS handles anywhere from, .295"-.300". FYI my Lee handles measure .300" in thickness before and .263" now. I am sure that they vary somewhat in different production years etc.

I use Lee 6C handles on my old NEI molds. One just needs to enlarge the cross pin hole.
