My manuals and books are all packed up, but I am hoping someone can take a look and see what a recommended load is for the 9mm Browning long. I got a Husqvarna 1907 a few weeks back and hope to load up a few rounds. Google has been unrewarding.

This link is for that cartridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9mm_Browning_Long

Here is the data listed in that article. Very little but maybe something you can work from comparatively.
Powder: 4.5 grains N340.
Bullet: 110 grains Norma J
Length: 1.09 in
Velocity: 815 ft/s (248) m/s

Here is another link to some data https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/9mm-browning-long.731124/
Not much, I know. May give you some ideas.

Thanks! I don’t have any n340 (never saw any, for that matter) and that velocity is pretty low. I am thinking maybe 3.5 grains of Bullseye and 100 grain Bullet might turn the trick. I know I have at least three different editions of Cartridges of the World, but none are accessible right now.
Fooey.

I have the 13th edition. On page 339 it gives some data for 9mm Browning long ctg.

75 gr. lyman 358101 5.0gr Unique 1078 fps.
95 fmj 5.0gr Unique 1050 fps.
116 fmj 4.8gr Unique 1000 fps.
110 fmj factory load 1100 fps.

There it is. Just keep in mind - COW is NOT a loading manual.

Both my cartridges of the world,5th and 14th, concur with that.

In handloaders manual of cartridge conversions. It lists

4.5 unique, 115 FMJ, 900fps

Thanks, folks. I have 8 lbs or so of unique, so I am going to give it a try.
