New to this caliber 7.62x25, I cast up some Lee 311-93-1R and was going to use ramshot silhouette. looks like I have to seat it deep to get it in battery. Has anyone use this bullet, powder and how was it. Thank you

Welcome to CB

I use that boolit (boolit = Cast Bullet) over BE (Bullseye)

another option is to use Berry's 32 cal (.312) 71 grain plated bullets

That boolit works well in the Tokarev I have used BE and CFE pistol.

Have you measured a fired case neck to see what diameter bullet will work? Have you slugged to bore?

Yea, and I m in the process of converting brass from 223/556 with no success. I used letter N drill bit to ream the neck but still too thick to chamber. I am going to use 5/16 bit next and see if that will work.

This vid might help you with reloading for the Tokarev . I converted 223 brass to Tokarev after forming the brass I used a .313 reamer to "thin" the necks down.

GONRA is very pleased with Starline 7.62x25 brass. Neck thickness is correct. Head diameter is correct. Shoots great!

I've been shooting cast Tokarevs from my CZ52...

I've got the Accurate 31-085YG but without the lube grove. I'm loading those guys in Starine and random brass under W296. It goes BANG and shoots a ball of fire out the end of the gun. We tried chrono-ing it, but I was getting weird readings like 30,000 fps - I'm assuming that had to do with the fireball.

Anyway, because it is a TC shape, they feed well and chamber properly. I do have an old barrel that I do a plunk test for each one.....

I didn't shoot all that well this day, but this is what those tok rounds look like...

I use a 93 grain hollow point NOE 315-102 RN in my 30 Luger. Here is a picture with 2 around an original Remington 30 Luger, which I was hoping to duplicate (it does). I can run these at 30 Mauser / Tok speeds since the barrel is modern manufacture Bar Sto 30 Luger in my Glock. Wonderful bullet.
