My old eyes need some light in the safe in order to find/see things. Whats the best led battery operated lighting system you've found and where do you buy this kind of stuff???

Harbor freight has a light switch led light that I purchased 2 years ago, very bright and sticks on with looks like 2 sided tape. In my hay barn still works, very hot in summer and cold in winter, also dusty conditions. Stick under shelf or on side wall should work very well and is cheap, like me.

Ace is the place, Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, likely any good hardware store will have a stick on battery light. Check lums rating. Get 2 if your safe has a shelf.

I found some motion activated, kitchen under cabinet led lights that run on AA batteries. Used some 3m double stick tape to hold em up. Been 2 years, I open the door, lights turn on automatically. Think they came from Amazon.

16$, USB but comes with adapter for 110v ac. 16$ @ amazon. Has 2 colors and 2 light levels plus off, 59" cord, will clamp to most tables, countertops, etc.
The one I've had longest is on my fly tieing table and is 2 years of constant use. These have a yellower light, and a very white light.

Thanks so much for the great suggestions guys!
I think I'm going to go with battery operated LED strip lights.
Wish me luck with the installation!

I wanted light in my safe and I ran a outdoor type rope light around the whole inside edge of the door and found a side benefit of this, the rope light when left on 24/7 adds a little heat to the safe making it a little warmer in there which keeps humidity down and my precious metal safe and dry.

Simple solution, I keep a small, LED flashlight in my safe.
