i bought an auction on evilbay thinking it was swaging dies, etc. i picked it up today and have no clue what i got. i think it is an old hand loading system that doesn't use a press, like a lee loader. it came with a grigsby case trimmer, so maybe grigsby? any ideas on what this is?

here is some kind of primer seater

The piece on the left in your primer seater picture looks like a shellholder for the old CH reloading presses. My Dunbar press used those.

..............So what did the E-Bay add say they were, or did they even guess? There are a lot of parts and do-dads isn't there? Sure looks like swage dies at first glance. They could be draw dies, form dies, punch dies, or maybe case altering/forming stuff or a mish mash of various stuff a guy of wide interest made or had made. No names or other ID info I take it?

ebay add had no help, and i'm not complaining about the seller. i'm just wondering what i ended up with. no numbers or letters of anytype on anything. when i received them, the 38case was in that die, and the LOADED 270 was in that one. i have been all over the internet with no luck finding anything like this. they just seem to nice to be home made, but who knows.

Some others look like shotshell decappers for presses and close ups of the items would help alot to see what they are.

The "primer seater" appears to be a Hollywood shell holder and
primer seater stem. I have a 12 holer turret (HUGE thing!) that looks just
like that. Maybe the other parts are related, not sure.

ok afterhours of trying this piece on that piece, i determined all the punches that look like they would be used on a shotgun reloader screw onto the piece threaded to fit a standard press.

I'm not sure, but I think the picture on the bottom maybe Andrew Jackson.

I think that particular note used to be worth about a $100, but now is down to about a buck if I remember correctly-

May want to put that back on eBay and sell whilst you still can.

AHH HAAAA!!! I think that after looking again that the shotshell parts would be for a L.E. Wilson or a C&H shotgun die set. They look to be the top caps for the dies, Primer decap rods and pins, case sizing parts and a couple others. A close up of them all would be helpful to determine exactly what they are and what brand their made for. I know if its for either die set their worth a couple bucks because they always the first things to break on them and their hard to come by in good shape.

i'm not sure thay are for a shotgun press. here are the parts that seem to go together, next to a 22 box for size.

the tapered things(punches?) screw onto the large threaded spindle.
