I just bought a Remington 14 in 35 Remington . Wanted to put together a 100 yard plinking load with lee swc tumble lube bullet unsized (.359”) . Wanting to run unique, 700x or 2400. Would appreciate your input.

Assuming you are working with a plain-based bullet I think 700x would be my choice. I think by the time 2400 or Unique get up to their "Happy place" velocity wise you'll be pushing the bullet faster than it's "happy place" velocity wise. A friend and I did similar work up in a Marlin 336 a few years ago. We used Red Dot, which is similar in burn rate to 700x. If my memory serves me correctly we found about 8.5 grains of Red Dot to work pretty well and it did seal the case necks. Check published data for your 700x and I think you'll find similar data.
Also, if you don't already have one, buy a Lee Collet neck sizing die and your brass will last almost forever with the mentioned load.
Good luck,
Rick

I use Bullseye for a plinking/small game load with that bullet in my 35 Rem. Push it right at 900 fps and it is amazingly accurate and a whole lotta fun. The 700X should work fine for you. Try 3, 3.5 and 4 gr.

Another nod for bullseye- in our .35 rems- lever actions and a 141 Remington and also in 32 Remington, should find a sweet spot load somewhere at or over 900-1000 FPS. More than adequate plinker- pot meat getting and pest removal load.

I have 14 & 141 in 35R and I shoot 158gr 357 cast in them. I have fooled with several powders. I tried the lighter boolits too. If AOL of cartridge gets to short I had feed problems.
