Needed two backstraps for Christmas supper, took down the 1892 SRC, .32 WCF, dob 1917 Sunday morning and headed out.

At 55 yards I slipped one just behind the shoulder, right in the gizzard. She ran 30 yards and tipped over.

115g GCHP boolit over 12g 4227. A touch hot, boolit made a silver dollar size entrance wound, shed its hp portion, exit wound was the diameter of a pencil.

When we removed her jammies my nephew, who shoots a 7mm Rem Mag, was amazed at the destruction created by the tiny cartridge. Never underestimate!

Merry Christmas, gang!253058

Nice deer and rifle. never seen an entrance wound bigger than an exit wound.

Boolit HPs open up real quick. Same with the .30-30 HP boolits. Big inny, small outty. Kinda like a Nosler Partition. Pic above taken 15 minutes after death. Not a speck of blood behind that shoulder (outty).

That's how it's done. Enjoy that venison.

Nice work !

There's nothing like a .32 gun for fun !

Judging by what many use on whitetails, magnums/etc, those deer must weight in over 1,000lbs.... ;)
