I recently acquired a Win. 94, .32 special. The gun is a tack driver with J words, am thinking about loading some cast bullets. I was looking thru my stuff and found a box with 400rds of .323 GC 170 gr cast bullets for 8mm Mauser. Would this shoot in my .32 spl which has a bore diameter of .321, without raising pressures to a unsafe level. Does anyone have any load info for this in a .32spl? All feedback appreciated.

IF they chamber you will be fine. Just don't start with a hot load [you should always start low and work up watching for overpressure signs]

Limiting factor is now tight the chamber neck is to ensure adequate release clearance.

In most .32 Specials I have loaded for a .323" bullet will chamber easily without resistance and is no issue.

RCBS 32-170FN with 30 grains of IMR4895, Varget or RL15 is a full charge load.

Same bullet can be used without the GC with 7 grains of Bullseye or 8 grains of Unique for 1200 fps.

I use .323 in both Winchester and Marlin 32 W.S.
Work well. I could chamber .325 in the Winchester but it shoots fine with .323.
