I'm curious about what people think about the RCBS 82026 Mold. I'm relatively a newbie at casting, so far only casted a few for 38, and 45/70.
I'm thinking about either getting RCBS 82026 mold or the Lee 6 Cavity 356-120-TC.

It would be casting for a 9mm, and most likely only be used for putting holes in paper targets.
Both seem interesting, but I have an opportunity to pick up the RCBS at a discount, but I didn't see much one way or the other on the mold.

Thanks in advance.

I only have slight experience with the RCBS mold you mention. My problem with it stems from it being a two cavity mold. The Lee 6 cavity mold far exceeds the RCBS in production.
The differences in accuracy, if any, are minimal.
The Lee is a proven design that works in every 9mm handgun I have tried it in.
The Lee would be my recommendation.

RCBS molds are great molds....for two cavity molds.

If you don't shoot a lot then you won't have any problems. IMHO four cavities in the minimum I want on a caliber I shoot a lot.

I've got a couple of eight cavity molds for 9mm and they rock!

Get the Lee 120gr TC, I have it and it's been great so far. I've only powder coated and sized them but am trying to test out the proven forum method of tumble lubing straight from the mold so I can save time+labor from tumble coating+baking+separating bullets and sizing each one.

I have both. I’ll take the RCBS mold any day of the week over the Lee.

I have the lee .356 120 tc works very good . So good I got it in 40 and 45. The 401 175 tc shoots great in my hi point carbine. Also got the tc mold in 45 but havent shot it yet.
