This followed me home from Texas last week. It originally came out of an estate so I am sure there is a seating die that goes with it, at least I assume so.
It is a 30BR neck size and decapping die. It uses a bushing for the neck and a 310 die decapper rod. The thread size is.671" x 20 tpi.
The die is well made, and a good use of the Tong tool.
But, who made it?????

I think Seeley Masker is right, apparently it was a common modification. Another name mentioned is C. Hart. Then there is the caliber, I need to do some measuring to figure it out. It looks like 30BR with an overstrike. But, It could be a 30 HBR, a cartridge I had not heard of before this.

Ken, you might slip over to the benchrest.com site and ask around. I got good help from them when I first started looking for historical info about the Culver Conversion and it’s clones.
I saw pictures of a similar setup to yours somewhere but didn’t realize it’s significance at the time. It does look pretty interesting now that you’ve identified its purpose.

Mr Frog Person, I have been on Shooters Forum and they ID'd it and the caliber, that I had never heard of before. It is used with a Wilson seater for reloading at the range or during a match.
And, yes I think I remember seeing a picture of it at one time or another. It's nice to have one in hand.

Ken
There was a unit like that on Ebay last month. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it looked just like the item you posted.
