Paper patch bullet in the 50-70

Has anyone here tried a PP bullet in their 50-70/ If so how did it work out for you? Will a PP bullet shoot good with smokeless powder or do you think it would perform better with good ole black powder.....I would have to get another mold unless I buy some PP bullets from Buffalo Arms instead...

I shoot them all the time , they are a tapered 473 gn bullet and with the 70 gns of 1F they shoot to the sights on both my origional 50-70s , they are 1 and 1/16th inch long...Dean
